School Supplies for kids

Just wanted everyone to see what the money they donated is doing.With the money from us, the church and online donations we have enoughfor150 bags. Your support will help us reach 200 bags. All donationsare confidential.

In the past we found that when we have asked people to donate actual school supplies, we did not get top quality. Some even donated half used pencils and ink pens that did not write. So we started buying the supplies ourselves and was able to give out up to 50 bags. For the last two years with the financial help of others we have hit the 100 bag mark. This year we would like to do even more.

If you are not comfortable given money please contact us for a list of items we need. We will have schedule times when you can bring the supplies to the church. We will bag everything up and of course feel free to help.

Every year my wife and I along with help from our church Lighthouse Fellowship sponsors a Back 2 School Bash. This event provides school supplies for all school aged kids. This includes college students.

Last year we gave a way 100 school supply bags.

Each bag contained:

pens, pencils, colored pencils, crayons, rulers, glue, spiral notebooks, notebook paper, erasers, scissors, pencil sharpener, and reusable lunch bags.

We have games and the kids win praises (Gift Cards and backpacks filled with school supplies).

Our event will be at Lighthouse Fellowship Ministries located at 463 South Lynnhaven Road Virginia Beach, VA 23452.

Food and drinks will be served. (hot dogs, chili, chips)
